Each motor deputy completes an intensive 80-hour Basic Police Motorcycle Rider course and participates in ongoing training to maintain peak performance. As certified instructors in the North Carolina Governor's Highway Safety Program "Bike Safe" initiative, our motor deputies also help civilian motorcyclists improve their riding skills and safety awareness.
