S.R.T. - Special Response Team

The Special Response Team (S.R.T.) is the Orange County Sheriff's Office's highly trained tactical unit, ready to respond to our community's most challenging public safety incidents.

These specially selected, trained, and equipped deputies complete rigorous training to handle dangerous operations, including:

• High-risk search warrants

• Violent offender/fugitive apprehension

• Hostage situations

• Barricaded suspect(s)

• Civil unrest management

• Emergency tactical response
